Day 01: Arrival in Oslo (region)
Arrival in Oslo according to your own itinerary. Pick up of your rental car (non included in the rates). Welcome to Oslo – the charming capital of Norway. The Norwegian capital is beautifully situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord and surrounded by forested ridges. Oslo offers many well-known sights such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum, and Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

Day 02 Oslo – Lillehammer – Valdrès (≈ 330 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. You will drive to the north along the Mjøsa Lake which is the largest lake in Norway, to Lillehammer, the host city of the Olympic Winter Games in 1994. We suggest you climb up the many steps up to the top of the ski jump tower, where your effort will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Olympic city and the surrounding valleys and forests.
Optional: Worth a visit is also the eco-museum of Maihaugen where you will learn about the traditions and the history of the Gudbrandsdal Valley. This amazing open-air museum is one of the most important of its kind in Europe and it will give you the opportunity to travel through Norwegian History from the 15th century to nowadays. Afterward, drive to Gjøvik and Fagernes towards the region of Valdrès, also called the heart of Norway.

Day 03 Valdrès – Sognefjord – region of Bergen (≈ 310 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will head across the valley Hemsedal and the “black valley” towards the Sognefjord, which is the largest fjord in the world. On your way, we suggest you to stop at Borgund, to discover one of the most beautiful stave churches in the country (entrance fee not included). Continue through the longest tunnel of Europe (27 km) until you arrive in Flåm which is situated on the banks of the Sognefjord, the world’s longest fjord.
Optional: Why not go on a Fjord Safari (1h30) on board a rib boat to discover the Sognefjord which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Optional: We also recommend a ride with the famous Flåm Railway (2 hours). This journey will take you to some of the wildest and most beautiful landscapes of Norway. Along the 20 km, you will see rivers digging their passage on the deep and narrow ravines, waterfalls flowing on steep mountains with snowy peaks, and mountain farms.
Afterward, drive through the Stalheim valley. We suggest you to stop at Tvinde waterfall which is famous since it is said to be a fountain of youth. Continue towards Voss and the region of Bergen.

Day 04: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. The entire day is at your leisure to discover the capital of the fjords. We suggest you to visit the Hanseatic district of Bryggen (on the World Heritage List), charming houses with the peculiar architecture of the Hanseatic trading posts, the Old City of Bergen, the Fløien funicular, the harbor, and its famous fish market.
Optional: We propose the Bergen Card (24 hours) which gives you free entry to all the museums in the city, free car parking at certain places, free public transport and many other reductions on cruises and other activities.

Day 05 Bergen – Geilo/Gol (≈ 250 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive along the Hardangerfjord, also the lovers’ fjord and famous for its fruit orchards. We suggest you stop at Steindalsfossen waterfalls where a little path will take you behind the waterfall. Cross the Hardangerfjord on the new suspension bridge of 1.380m length (toll fee not included). We suggest a stop at Vøringsfossen waterfalls which is one of the highest waterfalls in Norway. Continue through Hardangervidda mountains plateau. This national park is an ideal place for hiking and fishing. Enjoy your afternoon in that stunning nature.

Day 06: Geilo/Gol – Oslo area (≈ 250 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive towards Gol then through the green valley of Hallingdal in direction of the lake Tyrifjord and Hønefoss. We suggest a stop at the famous glassworks of Hadeland Glassverk founded in 1765. Continue to Oslo driving past the Holmenkollen ski jump which offers a magnificent view on the city and its fjord.

Day 07: Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure to discover the Norwegian capital. We suggest you to visit the Bygdøy peninsula and its museums (Viking, Fram, Kontiki…), Vigeland’s park, Munch museum, Aker Brygge district, Karl Johan Avenue.
Optional: We propose the Oslo Pass (24 hours) which gives you free entry to all the museum of the city, free car parking at certain places, free public transport and many others reductions on cruise and other activities.

Day 08 Departure from Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time before heading towards the airport to leave your car. Departure from Oslo according to your own itinerary.
